Artist History
Started in March of 2001, Specter has been a fiesty hurricane of raw rock & roll musical auroa, only getting stronger with time. Through the many lineup changes, Specter has emerged as one of Maine local rock's premiere upcoming talents. With already having played with local rock superstars Rocktopus, Even All Out, and Pete Kilpatrick, and even played with national rock stars Damone, Specter is leaving their imprint all over southern Maine, one show at a time. While Specter's sound can't be classified, they have a unique vintage/new wave sound mixed with punk, classic rock, alternative, and ska influences all wrapped around each other. Frontman and guitarist Jeff Beam, along with drummer Chris Hill have been in the band since its creation over 2 years ago. With the recent additions of bassist Tom Rodrigue and guitarist Sully Dixon, the band has been playing more shows and writing new songs at a faster pace than ever before. Put on a cup of coffee, you're going to be hearing of Specter for a long time. |
