Press Reviews
“Engine is a NY based outfit that sound like the mixture of Staind, Godsmack, and Tool.
While the band’s overall aura is dark and brooding (“Voluntary Down”), often employing
complex drum beats underneath a bevy of groove filled guitar enhancements, they don’t
alienate the listener with endless noodling. Instead, this quartet wraps their
instrumentation around catchy choruses and powerful refrains and never loses sight of
the song, even when they get involved in a complex musical moment (“Blissful Dementia”).
For this, Engine stands head and shoulders above the rest, as they understand how to satisfy
not only their musical cravings, but their audience as well. For a shot of the current sounds
of rock, try Engine on for size.”

*Review from Skratch Magazine, Los Angeles, CA
"Engine's unique brand of music has in it's roots what rock was
about when the legends of our time began it. The strong guitar
and creative lyrics make Engine one of the most promising
bands around."
