Artist History dewdrop world is James Harkins, a classically-trained composer and flutist who began making electronica while in graduate school, recognizing the potential for electronic music to wake the hearer up in ways that modern "composer music" too often fails to do. Electronic music is now his main outlet. He works with musicians who play acoustic instruments, including folk instruments from around the world, and incorporates his collection of ethnic flutes into his music.
