She reminds of the girl band Tilt in the ways she sings. This band is truly amazing and I suggest giving them a try. Let me proceed by telling you a little more about the band. Windfall went through a couple different lineups but ended up as Jenn ifer Catucci, Jeff Terranova, Jon Biviano, Chris Wallin, Rob McDonough resided as the members today. This awesome hardcore punk band started out in Putnam County, NY, but consider the whole tri-state area their place. They've gathered many fans from all over, and got their name out by touring not only in the US, but also in Europe. Though Windfall have many loyal fans, they are still the underground music's scene best kept secret. Jennifer's hard sound is quite distinguishable, and plays a big role in the bands awesome sound and feeling of sensual singing and from the heart lyrics. Their sound is like no other that I have ever experienced, though they are so talented its a sure thing they'll rise. With the rhythm of Rob McDonough, the music and melody by guitarist and bassist's Jeff Terranova, and Jon Biviano, and the powerful voice of the very talented Jennifer Catucci, they wont be defeated in the race to the top. • -By Shadis D. • http://www.megakungfu.com/cdreviews/windfall.html • Reviewer: Nick.• Coming straight at you from the punk way of life you are given Windfall. Ok I must say this is very much different from anything I have ever heard. Insane rock fused with classic punk, with the pipes of the ultimate twist of old school Gwen Stefani(No Doubt) and early 80's Heart(ok real blast from the past). • "Sourpuss" is a complete ensemble of rolling guitars and a Dead 50's like drum style. Efficiently you are prop elled to a new level of what music is lacking today with all the half assed bands signed onto incredible labels for unknown reasons. Windfall takes all the talent these bands have and times them by 50. But let me add that Catucci's voice is one of very few, the true angels of the punk revolution. • Deep and mind blowing lyrics start of the uprising in "30 Seconds". Drums rage while the guitar runs through your skull tainting everything you ever thought about a world of unity. • " Need Not Wo rry" bre aks from the norm with an old school hardcore guitar, then slows it down a bit to a foot stompin' little diddy. The bass takes over this track, then power is turned over to insane to some obliterating drum work. The end of the track you see another sid e of Windfall when they introduce you to some classic metal. With blazing guitars and an unnatural growl from the insides of this talented singer. • On the Nick Scale.7 out of 10 Recommended Tracks: For all punk fans, ALL........ Terrorizer Magazine #92 Sept 2001• Well, I’m not sure what I was expecting from Jeff - ex-of-SXE-legends-Upfront ? Terranova’s latest group, but it sure wasn’t this. Windfall p lay catchy, melodic rock, with the merest of leanings towards that hardcore way of doing things, all topped off with powerful soaring female vocals. They remind me of a cross between X-Ray Spex and the vastly underrated L ife… But How To Live It? Both com parisons are largely due to the range and ferocity of Jennifer’s voice, but the rest of the band are no slouches either, and when they hit their stride, Windfall are sublimely beautiful. And by recording this live in the studio, they’ve managed to captu re a very real and genuine instinctive energy. [7] [IG] t
