Artist description
Transistor is a two-man electronic band from Mexico with an unusual sound. We mix everything from dance 4/4, filtered funk drums, lo-fi loops to heavily processed guitars, regular guitars, ethnic percussion, horns, moogs, OB8's and many other sounds, basically trying to have some fun and letting it show on our work. |

Musical Influences
We don't look after someone in particular, but we listen a lot to Fatboy Slim, Fluke, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Chemical Brothers, Tool, Crystal Method and many, many others... |

Mmm... hard to say. I guess we have a little in one track of our influences and in another a lot from another... you be the judge. |

Artist History
Transistor formed in late 1998. Frank comes from a progressive metal band called Gemp and Joe from the industrial band Deus ex Machina. We met by chance and talked about collaborating on a track, but the result was so good to us that we decided to keep working together. |
