Artist History
The Gorskys have a strong musical emphasis, so Liam and Chris decided to cash in on the Millennium hype by doing a song parodying the whole concept. “New Millennium” is the result. The other songs on their EP, “License to Fish”, are quite frankly just padding. Funny padding, but padding nonetheless. The Gorskys have a laid back live performance style, where they stand on stage, sing hilarious songs and say funny things in between. This has given them a loyal following in the live comedy scene. They have performed at almost every comedy venue in Melbourne. Their most memorable gig, however, was in a Pizza Hut for Triple M in Adelaide. What was supposed to be a short promotional appearance turned into a massive food fight as over 600 people crammed into the so-called Hut to hear the group perform and eat as much pizza as they could. In addition to their work with the Gorskys, each of the group members follow busy careers as solo writers, comedians and performers. |
