Artist History
Star Survivor is an experimental indie rock band based out of the Baltimore/DC region. Star Survivor touches all different area's of music...no limits...no concern for the traditional pop-song structure. Passionate yet at the same time very chaotic. Free spirited and raw...a combination of notes and rhythm's coming from all directions at once. Star Survivor began as a little basement recording studio experimental project in the spring of 1999. Now in our early and mid-20's Star Survivor has evolved into a full scale operation and the music has grown from raw idealism into intense complexity with every sound wave and rhythm precisely calculated. Star Survivor over the past 3 years has played with the likes of Q and Not U (of Dischord Records), CEX, The Rock*A*Teens (of Merge Records) and many other great local bands all through out MD. Since 1999 we have also released several independent records and are in the works of putting together a live video. You can expect all of our releases and shows to range from ear piercing to beautiful while fading in and out of organized chaos and harnessing every sound possible with our large assortment of effects and tools of engagement |

Well, if you dudes ever make it out to Cali, i guarantee that you have a place to crash and drink some beer. I will always be more than happy to help you guys out in any way that I can. Your passion is worth more than a thousand MTV videos. Fuck the cookie-cutting-motherfucking-stripmining-desensitizing-alphabetizing-sterilizing music industry...(muthafuckas) NOISE IS KING!!! oh yeah, and your website is pretty damn cool also... lotsa love, your friend in Californi |
