Artist History The brainchild of Matthew Shomphe, Six Foot Santa has seen several incarnations since its humble beginnings in 1996.Having fallen victim to every possible cliche in the world of independent music, from cancelled gigs to crooked agents, SFS was able to rise from the ashes time and again and continue to make the music they wanted. A first venture into recording yielded a five song CD, only about 100 of which are in circulation. And in 1999 SFS was able to record a three song follow-up showcasing the musical growth the band has gone through over the years. All of the songs mentioned are available from MP3.com. While the band members have gone their seperate ways, the music lives on.
