Press Reviews
"Orchestraville opened the show with a typically flawless performance. No band that I have seen on a regular basis makes their shows seem so effortless. Their particular brand of warp-pop always seem to cut through the run of the mill distort-o guitar mire that is much of indie rock of late." - Hotface ***** "A dark, sparse, forboding musical landscape. Strange creatures wander through the desert late at night. XTC meets Violent Femmes, Pixies, and Glass Eye." - John Relph, Chalkhills Recommends ***** "The best band in Ohio, after Devo." - Ian Stewart, AUTOreverse ***** "I dance for an hour every day. Had James Brown, had Lonnie Johnson, had Ronnie Dawson. Now, Orchestraville is the thing. I swing to Ersatz Love. I am slowly climbing a hawser to Black Peacock." - Judy Henske, folk singer, mycologist, and artist |
