Press Reviews
Sand1 intersects classic Easy listening with Lite Rock and a dollop of Smooth Jazz. It ends up as an original mix of Styx's complexity and Kansas' folkiness with the lushness of 1,000 Strings. - Nick D., Listen.com...Genre: Jazz...Song: Riptide...Grade: 4 Guitars = Excellent! Get the CD!!...Sand1's Rick Yearout and Dean Chicquette are terrific musicians and songwriters. "Riptide" is a real delight as is "Challenge" -- both smooth jazz numbers. The music is flawless and beautiful. The new age numbers were also pleasing, particularly "Release." |
