Artist description Cinema West was an Austin theatre specialising in blue movies and other malfeasances… Now it is the aegis for a newly created band that is continuing the melodic rock tradition of the Beatles and Radiohead while creating a sound that is modern and original. The upcoming CD is a six song ep that evokes Britpop, jazz, R&B, psychedelic rock, and ambient music. It is a powerful and eclectic collection of songs captured by nationally-renowned producer David McNair (Kacy Crowley, John Mayall, Silver Scooter). The band's short history together belies their experience as songwriters and performers… the recording, cinematic in scope and sound, a glimmer of things to come.
