Artist description
I guess this means a description of me. I would call myself an ecclectic muciscal artist with roots in rock and pop. The guitar has always been my primary writing tool, followed closely by the keys and bass. Music for me (and a lot of others, I'm sure) has been a way to escape, release my frustrations, and express myself in ways words won't suffice. For a while I disliked the category "pop" because of it'sconnotations, but have grown to accept the unifying definition as a way of describing the efforts of those individuals who make no bones about the communication aspects of music. My goal (whether I've wanted to admit it or not) has always been to relate what I'm feeling to as many people as possible. Sometimes this requires "stepping out of yourself" and writing something in a style in which I'm not particularly comfortable just to get my point across. And by doing so, exposing a bit of yourself that was previously hidden. Sort of like flashing your soul. Now there's a visual. Had enough? Well, you asked. |

When you've doing this as long as I have you tend to not be so concerned about what the mediasays about you. What really counts is how audience appreciation. And so far, so good.Which leads me to...Thanks!!! |
