Artist description
Born out of the wreckage of their high school garage band, Antidote creates music that falls just outside the boundries of any definable genere. The band is completely aloof to all current trends and strives to carve a musical identity all it's own. |

Artist History
Antidote had an auspicious begining, slamming away in garages, attics and basements throughout its high school and college years. Cutting their musical teeth at graduations, frat parties and political gatherings, the band has managed to put over a decade of live performances under its belt. After the the departure of Niggemyer and Bruening, the remaining members enlisted the help of classicaly trained bassist Grant Eckhart, then took to the studios to record the album, Applause. After which the band imploded. Then reunited as power trio for the recording of "Tao-Solo." The group now performs as an acoustic duo taking an organic approach to the music of its past, while creating new music in the Antidote vein. |
