Artist description
From South Seattle, emerges Aggressive Nature, a hard hitting aggressive rock band that combines melodic rhythms, dynamic guitars, and pounding choruses bringing to life pure rock music. With the current release of their self produced Demo CD "Storm Coming" Aggressive Nature is taking the club scene by storm. The CD has received airplay on KISW?s Seattle Zone and received kudos from local musicians visiting the studio during the show."WOW? Aggressive Nature is a must see Rock-n-Roll band. They have written their own material that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat (if you can sit down) when you hear this group it leaves you with a feeling you just had a Rock-n-Roll experience!" stated NW Rhythm after the April12th show at Slider?s."The sound that Aggressive Nature captures is driving, and the lyrics speak of themes that the audience can identify with." - Aimeé Marmon, Studio Manager for Acoustic Chambers Recording.Aggressive Nature is a four piece band who?s members include Rob O?Neal (lead guitar, lead vocals), Bobby Smith (bass, backing vocals), Gary Parker (drums, backing vocals), and Chadd Simmermon(rhythm guitar, backing vocals). Hailing from Auburn, Washington and formed in October of 1998, Aggressive Nature began quietly (so to speak) honing the songs for their demo CD then recording those songs at Acoustic Chambers Recording Studio in Kent, WA. Prior to completion of their demo, they played their first live show at a studio showcase. After performing a second set at the request of the guests, they received kudos from the all musician and music industry crowd. "From the first chord, Aggressive Nature had the crowd by the throat and never let go!" - Will Reedy, Producer for Acoustic Chambers Recording, after an outdoor showcase of studio talent. |

Press Reviews
NW Rhythm - 4-27-2000 Aggressive Nature As I walk in the door after a 45 minute drive to Slider's in Renton "I'm thinking to myself" Another loud hard rock band "hoping I have my ear plugs" just in case. WOW this group is a hard hitting, pulsating rock-n-roll band.Whoever said "dynamite comes in small packages" was nothing but correct! When your in a room with Rob the lead singer of AGGRESSIVE NATURE you pay attention! His vocals are powerful and demand nothing less than your full attention. You can feel the passion and love for his music seep from every pore of this man's body, (being expressed through his vocals) Impressive. The bass player is strong in his ability to pulsate that solid on key rhythm that every band depends on. He is alive on stage, nothing short of incredible while adding strong musicianship in his presence. While the lead guitar is a little shy, he is not a force to be ignored. Skill and precision in every move "talented" is the key word here. Drums were the heart beat of the band and I broke out in a sweat just watching the fast rhythmic beats on his kit, but he works hard with a smile on his face. AGGRESSIVE NATURE is a must see Rock-n-Roll band. They have written their own material that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat "if you can sit down" when you hear this group it leaves you with a feeling that you just had a Rock-n-Roll experience! |
