Artist description
Tall, Dark and Handsome . . . well, two out of three isn't bad. Ok, so i'm not that dark, but at least I'm handsome. Born in canada, travelled the world, gone to school in so many countries, never learned how to spell. Deeply influenced by both technology and nature, while gleefully following a meandering path to enlightnment. I usually walk around with a digital recorder, and two instruments in my backpack. Someday I will dunk on a 10 foot net. |

Artist History
The Shadowman is in eternal conflict with the deciples of Amario since the beginning of time, around 1978, near the end of november. This holy war of spiritual duality plays out in the body, mind and soul of Amar S. Acharya. Amar has been in a whirlwind of musical activity, having lived lives as the bassist for a Death Metal band, and as a regular club DJ spinning the hardest house tracks this side of the midwest. Growing up with music, Amar, who would later assume the avatar form of The Shadowman in his early 20's has played in Jazz clubs, Bistros and Coffee Houses with various talented musicians. The Shadowman revealed itself to Amar during a trip to California one summer. |
