Artist description
Stories of The ELITE’s aggressive and entertaining live shows have spread rapidly for a band that has been together for less than a year. Their rough nature combined with fresh, edgy, raw and melodic mind melting songs have captured the attention of audiences everywhere they play. With inspirational infusion of the Beatles, GreenDay, NoFX and Blink182, their songwriting demands attention and forces a listen.
The Elite first started their quest together into the world of
punk rock in August of the year 2001. Although the band members were all childhood friends, West Orange High was a meeting ground for the power trio who had several classes together before getting together to jam and consummate their musical chemistry. Songs were written by guitarist/vocalist Danny Schoch, drummer Ben Litchman and Bassist/vocalist Dan Gotlieb in a third floor bathroom of Gottlieb’s home in West Orange, NJ. With guitars, drums and toilets in hand they started arranging all the songs that are featured on their first seven song EP titled “Actar! Actar!.... Are you OK?” The EP showcases their abilities to write songs that are memorable and leave listeners with an unforgettable mind melody that takes up residence in the conscious and subconscious making it hard to forget.
The entire record was recorded and produced at Evolution Studios in Union, NJ.
The Elite leave an impression on every audience by bashing a musical hole in every head. No heads left unturned!
