Far from home and despite of a troubled like in exile from their fatherland Iran, Mo have single-handedly rebuilt their lives several times over. Mo Jamal received his Master of Arts Degree from the school of Fine Arts at Tehran University. He continued studying in London and enrolled in a Doctoral program at the University of Sorbonne, Paris.
Mo usees various styles and media in his work. Inspiriation for his work often comes from everyday surrondings and thoughts about his life.
In recent years Mo's art has been focusing on joined work with acrylic, oil and pastel. This new imaginary style gives the audience a new sight from realism to cubism, surrealism to purism and hard-edge paintings.
Mo moved his four children to the United States after living in Germnay for 9 years. His work has been shown in various individual and group exhibitions in Tehran, France, Germany and the United States and documented on TV and in print. |
