    Artist description
The D.R.A. is based in San Diego, California. The Dreaded Rear Admiral is a side project. I've been working on this outside the band (name in progress) which has yet to put out any samples of their songs. The music here is not representative of my guitar playing which has been my main focus for the last three years or so, rather its the perfect excuse to try different things outside the norm of your average band; to branch off from the usual formula of verse/chorus/verse, guitar bass and drums.

    Artist History
6/18/02 Added "L.L.'s Been Drinking Again" and "L.L.'s Been Drinking Again (baby jesus club dub)". This song is a spoken word rant against...everything? You be the judge. Download this song or be bludgeoned over the head by a cold salmon. The dub mix is also highly recommended if you want something highly dancey, but annoying at the same time. 5/31/02 Added "Column A". A little bit of noise for the middle-man. 5/30/02 The Ninja song is complete. It's my best production to date. Surfin' guitars, funny samples, it's got it all. Download it or suffer the consequences. 5/28/02 QUAH! Ninja song is coming along nicely. 5/27/02 Five new songs are in the works: 1) The Quake Noise Ensemble. Figure it out. 2) A song about ninjas. 3) A spoken word rant f/ Ben on vocals. 4) An Aphex Twin-esque song with a looped piano thing. 5) An angry song about how "you're a worthless piece of shit". 5/25/02 Uploaded "Glib (Ninja Attak Extended mix)". It's well worth a listen, if you liked the first one. A lot funkier, and sample driven. Work on several new songs continues, including a song featuring samples from the game Quake. 5/9/02 Uploaded "Egolicious". Enjoy. It's all about me. 1/31/02 Uploaded a new song, finally. 'Glib' sounds like something out of a SNES game and ends with a guitar which is well...funky. 11/07/01 Added my remix of NTL 242's 'Goodbye to Hope'. I'm not sure if it improves upon the original in any way, but I certainly hope so. Either way, my feelings wont be hurt if no one likes it since its really just a half-assed production. Check it out under 'album 1' (remixes). 11/03/01 Everybody check out the new song, 'The Last of our Kind'. I'd really like to hear what people think of this one since I spent a lot of time trying to find the right mix and even after all that work it still sounds a bit sketchy. Its best described as Ministry meets old-school hip-hop.
