Artist description The Diskords are a punk band from Portland, Oregon. For the most part, the songs are short, loud, and to the point. They write about the other so-called "punks" you encounter at daVinci arts middle school I DONT WANNA TALK TO YOU, how thier moms ever manage to put up with them THE COPS TOOK MOMMY AWAY, and of course girls I DON'T MIND. But you won't find any sappy love songs here, in fact one of thier songs was deemed too offensive to record.

Artist History The Diskords got there start when Teddy, Ryan, Nick, and Dee Dee (who all attend da Vinci Arts Middle School) decided to do a Ramones and Johnny Thunders devoted cover show at the local pizza place, Murray's Pizza. After their show they realized that they had the potential to be one of the greatest punk bands to come out of Portland and became THE DISKORDS. They started writing originals after they learned that the ASCAP would sue them for playing covers and haven't looked back since.
