Artist description
Omine, pronounced ah-mi-nay, South Florida's most profound songstress, is currently working on her new CD Run For Your Life at Dungeon Recording Studios in North Miami with up and coming producer Fredric Freeman. Raised by hippie musicians, Allen Eager, a jazz tenor sax player and Nancy Eager, a pianist/singer, Omine was inspired to start playing guitar at age 7. Singing in her church choir since 9 and writing and performing original songs at 12, Omine formed her first band at 15 and has been singing and playing guitar on the South Florida scene ever since.

Press Reviews
Songs from her upcoming CD, Run for Your Life, display a strong and pliable voice, somewhat reminiscent of Chrissie Hynde. ... Quite promising. (Howard Cohen, Miami Herald, June 7, 2002) |
