Artist History
Matt Moliti was born on March 24th, 1983. He began
playing the guitar at the age of 13, then influenced
more by 70s progressive bands such as Pink Floyd,
Genesis, Yes, and King Crimson. From there he moved
on to Rush and later, Dream Theater, which is where
he finally discovered his love for shred guitar and
crushing progressive metal. As he grew as a guitarist
and musician, his tastes expanded into a more neoclassical
realm of playing, discovering bands such as Symphony X
and Blind Guardian. His favorite guitarists are Michael
Romeo, Jason Becker, and Yngwie Malmsteen and his
favorite bands are Symphony X, Blind Guardian, Adagio,
Angra, and older Dream Theater. |
