    Artist description
Fred & Al are the most ridiculous thing since pre grated cheese. They play a classic blend of Acid Folk Rock Dub, with a twist of Hard House Jungle Ska, and refuse to be pigeon holed (well Fred quite likes the sound of it). Their music sails on the cutting edge of taste, and more often than not crosses to the other side. Spear heading a movement so Revolutionary, they haven't even noticed.

    Artist History
FRED - A man born with Rhythm in his fingers and music in his blood. Unfortunately he was involved in a mysterious cagoule accident at the age of 4 which resulted in his hands being amputated and a complete blood transfusion being performed. AL - Brought up on the wrong side of town, a mean man with thirst for trouble and an eye for danger. (It's my site and I can be what I like) It was only a matter of time before fate would bring them together to create the musical bowle movement that is FRED & AL

    Press Reviews
"The unusual and slightly controversial Fred & Al. I have to say I heard mutterings of discontent and some people walked out but their Syd Barratt style meanderings and quirky devil may care attitude made its mark on those who stayed. I say all great bands start out by confusing their audiences, and I'm backing them to confound their critics, and if they dont it'll be a weird an uncoordinated ride to obscurity, which is always fun." Steve Maggs - GO Magazine, Watford Observer 04/10/02
