Artist History
The experiences and influences that have led to the diverse style of DKing can be attributed to his willingness and eagerness to adapt to any musical environment. From 70s Funk to Jazz Fusion right over to the heaviest of metal, Dave adapts, embraces and evolves to a superior level of accomplishment. This is why Daves music has been sought after on a regional level for extreme sports programs, various commercials and even the Howard Stern Radio Program. Dave has been featured in Musician Magazine as one of the best un-signed artist two years running. He has also headlined @ the NXNE Festival in Toronto. King has shared the spotlight with such aspiring guitarist as Joe Bonnamassa, Michael Angelo, Chris Duarte and Mr. Big guitarist Paul Gilbert. Dave spent the Summer of 1999 recording and performing with former ANTHRAX front man Joey Belladonna. Currently Dave can be heard in the band SLAVE-ONE, which features former members of Earth Crisis. |
