Artist History
Formed in 1982, The Unlawful Pedestrians experimented with an eclectic mixture of improvisation, avant-garde, and rock to formulate a sound unlike any other band in the era of new-wave. They released only one independently produced album, "Slightly More Than Half A Chromosome," on their now-defunct Rocking Horse Records label. A recent double CD compilation entitled "IS 2" was independently released in the Winter of 2001 to commemorate their 20th anniversary. Included on the CD was "Chromosome" and the previously unreleased album, "The Space Between The Grapefruits." In 1994 Graninger and Gerard formed a new band called Red Sky Project, and in 1996 released the independently produced CD, "The Body House." After renewed interest the band released "Place" in the Spring of 2002, the first new Unlawful Pedestrians album in over 15 years. |
