The Frenchman eats very healthy, surfs, skates and destroys, has a cell phone so he can call Canada, the first one asleep after any show and likes pink daggers. The Frenchman is 28, currently is the live-in bodyguard for professional Skateboarder Chet Childress, has never been to France (or Canada) and cannot speak one word of French. Charlie Massacre AKA: Charlie two-times, Charlie Angel, The high plains Grifter, Chaz (pronounced shoz), The Drunk Indian and The Glutton. Once a mercenary drummer for several of today’s hottest groups, Charlie traded his sticks for a black Les Paul Custom guitar and a HIWATT custom 100 amp. As a vocalist, this half Cherokee/German shocktrooper has been written about in all the cool magazines. He has a private fan club somewhere in Europe. This rock trooper is almost 29, drinks wine, currently resides 3 blocks East of the Cape Fear River and spends his free time eating food. Willie Dellamorte AKA: Slick Willie, Dr. Dellamorte, Will B. Dead, Tibs, and Longo. On a steady diet of Beef Jerky and pain, this action figure is not available in stores, he’s the real thing! TV yellow Les Paul and all, classic fender tone to boot… Technological purveyors paid hefty amounts to see to it that this rocker’s mold was seized after his birth. Press Reviews THE NEEDLES, featuring members of Sleazefest stalwarts and part-time pugilists the illbilly boys, bringing you continuous soft hits in the head with the jaggedest, hardest punk rock this side of Gluecifer. The Needles churn out gritting guitar rock along the lines of AC/DC, Kiss, and Thin Lizzy. The quartet from Wilmington delivers the classic two guitar, bass, drums attack with broken blood vessel vocals and ranting harmonies. Songs like Rock City, Love Letter, and Big Brown Bonnie are hepped up power chord rippers that can ignite an audience in to frenzy. The New York and Detroit punk influence of The Ramones and Mc5 come through on songs like Pin Cushion, Red/Green, and Reality Check. The Needles pull enough shtick from various sources to avoid being contrived or stale. Meet The Needles is a fun listen and the ten song disc is a great soundtrack for driving on the open road just be sure to bring the radar detector.
