Artist History
In 2002, a few members from Rochester New York’s local music scene decided to form a group including some of the most highly motivated and dedicated people with diverse influences and experience to back it up. This was the birth of Psifer. Immediately utilizing those influences and experience fueled a solid foundation of song writing and ignited a pillar of energy and emotion best described as raw and powerful.
With no time to waste, the band recorded and released a two song promotional demo spawning an extremely large fan base before ever hitting a stage. Also being veterans to live performance, each show has been filled with uncompromised energy and precision there after.
Psifer has created a truly unique sound and “buzz” by successfully incorporating originality with great marketing and hard work. This has been the key to intense progression. Addictive, full bodied vocals mixed with a heavily energetic rhythm section truly captures what makes the band so contagious.
In short, Psifer’s music provides rich complements and contrasts, both musically and emotionally, boldly encompassing every paradigm of aggressive music. |
