Artist History
The band saw its start a couple years ago when Me(Ben) and Chris began talking with each other at school. One day I went over to chris' for a jam session "and that was it" we knew something was going for us. The usual practices consisted of songs like "All The Small Things" and one of our classics "What They Sing About. "Slade Cabaret 2001" was the first place the band had an actual live appearance. Although only one song was played, we really got the crowed working and left a mark on the people who left the Cabaret that day. That summer Chris and I came to a major realization, "WE NEEDED A BASSIST". We had toyed with the thought for some time prior, but had never put a plan into action. Phil "Coleslaw" Holtzclaw was who the band found. In August 2001, with little over two week of practice, Coleslaw played a live show with us. This show was held at Bens house for the end of the Summer Party. Through 2001 and in to 2002 the band developed several solid songs and was ready to take it to the next step. The next step was a rythm guitarist and back up vocalist. That position was filled by Ryan Asdente. On April 19, 2002, we made our first "full band debut". There are many gigs lined up for the summer, and Bens end of the summer party isn't too far away so stay posted. |
