Artist description
Listening to Soultorn is much like entering into an alternate
dimension, full of primal rage, dead dreams, and emotional butchery.
Born in 1996, this band has been constantly taking themselves to the next level,
fusing melody and chaos with tortured passion and unadultered rage which has
mesmerised crowds time and time again.
Ripping melodies forged with sheer technicality, pummeling force,
and unbridled chaos, matched with vocals ranging from soothing choruses
to ear splitting, destructive screams prove once and for all that those
bands who walk the dividing line between Heaven and Hell are those meant
to succeed.
"Our crowd is divided by those who participate in our hell, and those
who stand beyond, intruiged" explains Ryan Montigny (vocals, guitar), co-founder.
"Either way, we always get a reaction". |

Artist History
Soultorn began originally in 1995, under the name "Harrow", founded by
Ryan (bass, vocals) and Zack(drums). Things didn't come together until the recruit of guitarist
Tom O'Banion, the destined third part missing from the group. Soon after,
Ryan began playing guitar, to broaden the bands melodic edge. They found
bassist Cory Ragan, who rehearsed and played for awhile, then abruptly quit,
claiming other interests. The band now seeking a full time bass player,
while preparing to record thier most devastating and dynamic album to date
"Inferno". |
