Artist History
The founding members of Convex Lens have been involved in music
since their childhood. The band started with Casey Townsend (guitar, vocals), who
later became good friends with Daniel Chaffin (bass) and Joshua Brown (drums). Together
they formed Convex Lens. Through out the years, Convex Lens
has had several other members including Casey's sister Amy. Currently
Adam Souls is the bands newest member playing rythum guitar. So far the band
has had the honor of opening up for The Elms, and The Waiting and has played at
several major youth events including Atlanta Fest and Life 2002! Convex Lens has
released 1 full length CD and 2 short CD's (containing 4 and 8 songs respectively)
and 1 Christmas album (available again on MP3.com Christmas 2003). Next up is a 12
song album featuring brand new, never before heard music on an album called, "Flying
Away" due Summer 2003, along with a remix album containing songs from previously released
albums including, "Dependence", "Ignite", "Anyway", and "Alien", like you've never heard
them before. Keep on the lookout. Convex Lens has undergone drastic band member replacement
and the official new members will be posted on the website soon. |
