Artist History
In the summer of 1997, Brian Shepper (bass guitar, lead vocals), along with Johnny Radelat (drums, vocals), and Neil Duncan (lead guitar) came together to form 9 miles. Drawing from such influences as Bob Marley, The Allman Brothers, and Pink Floyd, 9 Miles has gained a reputation in the Southeastern U.S. as an energetic live act and has self-produced and released two full length albums and one E.P. release (check out the merchandise page for details). Becoming a top drawing act in their home-town of Gainesville, Florida - 9 Miles has opened for such acts as The Wailers, Burning Spear, Sam Rivers Orchestra, Galactic, The Roots, and Gov't Mule. Their recent relocation to Nashville, Tennessee was due to their desire to be more centrally located in the Southeastern United States. |
