The Boogie Man, actually difficult to say who he sounds like with so many influences. I would say close to Jay-Z on a Wutang -Nas tip. |

Artist History
Born in Washington Hieghts NY (Sugar Hill ), Taba toured the US and Canada accompanying notable R&B Artists. Bridging the cultural gap on earth without crossing over issues, he plays keyboard and guitar while vocally explaining pain and joy. In the year after "The United States Cival Rights Act," Taba was signed to CBS records as a child pianist before funky soul joints where acceptable to mainstream media. Before the internet, profound black artists had fewer outlets as Taba paid dues working in various odd places . Once featured on a TV program entitled "Black Journal" on Atlanta Georgia's Channel 11 as well as appearing on a Clarence Carter Album (as a harmonica player) entitled the "Burning of Atlanta," Taba toured the south also crossing the country to Los Angeles with the Mighty Hannibal. From piano bar on Canada's Gaspe Peninsula, then working as a grinder on a submarine shipyard in Groton Connecticut, not to mention various hustles here and there, to playing music on the streets of New York City, he gained life experience. the American corporate world was not then ready for his versatile style .Things have changed and now he's back on the art scene as Chief Director at Givagops Inc. With influences from Classical, Romanticism, Blues, Rock, Bebop, Salsa, Caribbean, Hip Hop and R&B, you have music from Taba. |
