Artist description
Super no.7 walks a fine line between modern mainstream rock and contemporary indie rock. Although at times they teeter toward one or the other, it is the balance between both that gives the band it's sound. |

Artist History
Formed in the winter of 2000, Super No. 7 has since become a driving force in the regional music scene. After recording their first single, this five piece rock outfit landed it in regular rotation on Erie’s top rock station where it burnt up the phone lines and stayed within the top 5 most requested songs for two months. The buzz about Super No. 7 was unbelievable and crowds started coming out in droves to see their high-energy power-packed shows. It was this popularity that gave them the opportunity to share the stage with national acts such as Seether, Sinomatic, Crash Palace, The Clarks, Sponge, and Fuel, along with a plethora of high profile shows in their home town and surrounding areas. Those high-profile shows have included many Rolling Rock promotional shows, an outdoor gig at the local stadium playing as a warm up act for national artist Kid Rock, and even a slot at the Rolling Rock Town Fair IV, including bands like Blink 182, Puddle of Mudd, 311, Sum 41, Def Lepard, Trapt, and Saliva.
In addition to their success, in 2001, the band secured a Rolling Rock beer endorsement from LabattUSA, immediately increasing sales of Rolling Rock and Rock Light beer by 6% in two months. In 2003, Super No. 7 continues touring the east coast, promoting their debut cd ep “The Story Of Goodbye” released by the independent label, 203 N. Skytop Records.
Super No. 7 is a band that is destined for greatness. They are not just a band that could be a passing fad; they are in for the duration. Their influences include U2, Foo Fighters, Our Lady Peace, Thursday, The Cranberries, Jimmy Eat World, Goo Goo Dolls and The Gin Blossoms among many others. They use a varied mix of styles and blend them beautifully together into intellectually sound and soaring harmonies. They fuse what’s great about modern rock with vintage sounds and lyrics that are smart but have a definite pop sensibility

Press Reviews
“These guys are on the verge of a great style of rock music, blending early 90’s alternative, some vocal variations viable of the glam era, and guitars that rival the new indie rock explosion. I believe if they continue on this path, and they all work towards it, it shouldn’t be long before they are playing all over the country.”
- Rob Kraut, Jump Town Productions, Los Angeles, CA
“They had the most potential, in terms of going further in their career. It was a sound that’s pretty big on the radio right now, and the lead singer (Keith Hayes) had a lot of energy and their songs were solid.”
- Sia Michel, Executive Editor, Spin Magazine.
