Artist History Jonas is an alternative rock band hailing from Charleston, SC. The band consists of rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist Lee Cooke, primary songwriter and lead guitarist David Clayton, bass player/background vocalist Barry Daniel, and drummer Dave Culbreath. In the Spring of 2002, Jonas self released their debut album, "…drive ‘til morning." Wonderwall Studio of Sound housed the recording while Jonas produced the album. "…drive ‘til morning" is the album your CD collection has been missing. From the Melodic Rock of “Dear Jonathan,” the first cut from the album, the modern rock of “Goodnight” to the emotional melodies of “Forget About Me,” you will find yourself coming away with a tune every time. Although Jonas has been compared to the likes of Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, and Fountains of Wayne, the band has definitely chiseled their own sound into Rock. With a unique blend of crunchy guitars, a thumping rhythm section, and Cooke’s emotional vocals, every listener will be singing and humming along with each song. Jonas has played for a wide variety of audiences and has spent a lot of time catering to college crowds. They have developed a very loyal fan base that spans across a majority of the southeast.
