Artist description
Originally hailing from County Armagh, Aidan now lives in South East London.
For the past few years he's been devoting his musical energies to navigating the mandolin (and related instruments).
Editor-in-chief of the Irish music webzine "Pay The Reckoning", Aidan has made over 100 of his original tunes (jigs, reels, hornpipes, etc.) available to the Irish music community.
Here you'll have an opportunity to listen to the man himself play some of those tunes (and more besides) and listen to his sometimes funny, sometimes bitter, often melancholy self-penned songs.
All recordings are of the rough and ready variety ... "field recordings" if you like. But we hope you'll agree that while the recordings may lack technical finesse, they are honest, rugged and passionate. In Aidan's eyes these are the qualities that really count!
