Artist description
Hard rock with edge and attitude. A mid-tempo assault in drop d.
Chunk-heavy, grooves with melodic overtones guaranteed to leave a mark.
Welcome to twentyseven...
A combination of evolving tastes and musical influences has lead to the birth of the hard rock act twentyseven. Comprised of members Tim Reesor (guitar), Tryg Smith (bass), Christoph Roy (vocals), and Tom Brouard (drums), the band has recently began work on their upcoming self titled CD, which is scheduled for an early fall 2002 release.
Smith, Roy and Reesor, have been writing and performing together in various line-ups for many years. The element of time has resulted in a very tight well-oiled song writing machine. Recent addition to the group, Brouard, has added a solid backbone to the rhythm section of the band. His contributions have helped kick-start the bands renewed sound and direction.
The bands history and influences, which include such acts as Clutch and Tool, has helped mold what twentyseven feel is a truly original sound in the midst of a manufactured hard rock music scene.
twentyseven's approach and attitude, combined with their experience both in a live performance environment and in the studio are sure to help the band make their mark.
