Artist History The early stages of this group's evolution began in October of 2001 when Jesse, Mike, and a man by the name of Jim recorded an EP consisting of excerpts from the first jam and a completed first song. Kate Stephens assisted Jesse in the recording of vocal parts over the first song; then, in early 2002, Kate joined the band following the departure of the man by the name of Jim (who played bass, incidentally, on the EP).
