Artist description
Drop-O-Rama expresses a melodic heavy-rock which includes many original influences in its musical patchwork, going from pop-rock to industrial sounds.
The songs of this first album show a good example of Drop-O-Rama's musical approach : to assign a very important space to the vocals and guitars without neglecting the melodic input brought by the keyboards. |

Artist History
Drop-O-Rama was first conceived as a studio project by drummer Antoine de Montremy for the recording of a few demos. It became a real band in October 1999 thanks to the arrival of guitarist Raphaël Hautefort.
After less than six months, both musicians decided to prepare the recording of a full length album. They were joined in by vocalist Oliver Campana, guitarist Alain Joumel and drummer Eric Pagès.
Raised at the english pop-rock school, Oliver Campana has gained its experience by touring in London during the last five years with the Nervous Wrecks. Alain Joumel and Eric Pagès, former leaders of the band Respect (whose album Despair had been released in 1995 by BMG – Media 7), are also working with their new band Open Project. |
