Artist History
Denny "Lewanrock" Lewan is originally from Wisconsin, and began composing music at age 10. His first rock band was called "The Fyrebirds." When they later disbanded, he joined a group known as "Atilla and the Huns," which have recorded several singles and an album on the Majic Touch and Dynamic Sound record labels. They became one of the most popular bands in the Midwestern area. They later recorded more singles and an album under the name "Filet of Soul." They were later based in Chicago, and performed at clubs, concerts and on TV. They once performed for a live audience that was larger than that of the original Woodstock Rock Festival. The end of each show and concert would leave the audience chanting for more.
After the group disbanded, Denny relocated to Southern California to concentrate on writing and recording his extensive library of songs.
When asked what his music sounds like, Denny would often say, "It's a blend of Rock, R&B, and some Country Rock, but it's my original sound...I guess you could call it "Lewanrock." After being called "Lewanrock" by many, he adopted it as a trade name. |
