Artist description
There must be something in the water of New Jersey cause great new talents
such as 3 Mile High are emerging from the good old Garden State frequently.
This 4-piece rock/emo band defines a striking new sound of rock music.
Combining catchy vocal hooks with powerful dynamics, and intricate guitar
riffs, these guys have created a sound that the music world has been
dieing for. 3 Mile High has set a new standard for rock/emo music around
the world by expanding their horizon to a whole new level, beyond
industry limits. Talent is one word that easily characterizes this band.
High-energy songs like “Roll Over” and “Away” will have you moving to
every beat. Then there are songs like “Gone to Far” and “LSD Hero” that
you can just feel the emotion build up in your chest waiting to break
loose. Every song you hear is unique and fresh in it’s own way so things
don’t become so mundane and repetitive. This is a band you have to see. |

Artist History
3 Mile High started in August of 2001 as a 5 piece pop punk/emo band along the lines of New Found Glory and Blink 182.
They quickly began writing original songs. After a while they came to make the decision that the band sounded better
with one guitarist. So the band continued on as a 4 piece. After 4 months tradgedy struck. Adam, the drummer, broke
his arm in a fight at a Flogging Molly concert. He would be out for 6-8 weeks. The band continued to write without
him. When he finally retuned they had a decent line up of songs. Evetually they started evolving their own sound and
transgressed from a pop punk band into more of a rock/emo band such as Thursday. Around May of 2001 the band had a
set of 14 songs that dominated over everything they began writing almost a year ago. They recorded a cd, and are
currently recording a new demo cd which should be available in September. Come check them out in the future. |
