Artist description
John and Herbie's music and styles of playing reflect a rich, diverse musical socialization. Both have played a wide scope of music over the years, and this is readily apparent while listening to a few of their songs. Not to be put into a "musical box" wherein the two artists cannot freely explore and express their diverse musical tastes, Nomo Lies' first CD music project blatently defies simple genre classification and instead takes listeners on a musical journey that is sure to entertain and touch the soul. |

Artist History
John and Herbie have known each other and have been friends since the age of 10. They lost touch after high school. John was working as an investment consultant and Herbie as a health services researcher when they hooked up again, 25 years after their high school graduation. John and Herbie played in their first professional band in the mid-1970s, a blues fusion group called "Off the Wall." Both musicians accomplished a good deal as professionals in more traditional day gigs, but both now complete a full circle back to their first love, music. |
