    Artist description
Gravity Terminal was founded and created to make a new style of music and art and to expand electronic music inside and out of the dance music genre. Founder of Gravity Terminal, Timothy Preece has been making and producing music and art in both Los Angeles, California and in Tokyo, Japan. Timothy would like to see Gravity Terminal as an ongoing and collaborative music and multi-media art project involving many different artists. For the past two years, Gravity Terminal has been based in Tokyo, Japan to create a new electronic based music. Gravity Terminal has done many things in Japan ranging from creating music for web sites, DJ events, live electronic shows, radio, CD production and audio mastering. Last year, GT did music for a short animation film for Sonet and appeared in the magazines Thrill and Swiss Communications. He also participated in Design Festa (Odaiba), produced two self-titled CDs, created music and sounds for advertising giant Dentsu's homepage(www.dentsu.com) and was DJ to many events around Tokyo. This year, GT made original music that was played on InterFM radio (Guy Perryman- World Bazaar Show 76.1FM). In addition to DJing original music, Gravity Terminal has created a live electronic band which has been giving live electronic performances at events hosted by the International multi-media artist group, 'Eyesaw' for their 13th annual Arts events which took place at Le Deco, (Shibuya), Garage (Shimokitazawa, live house), and Radio on Active (Gaienmae). As a producer, Timothy Preece has mastered tracks and CDs for artists like South African DJ Shane Berry and Eyesaw's interactive CD-rom. Gravity Terminal's latest project is making music for the famous robot designer, Tatsuya Matsui (Flower Robotics), which will be used for his website. Mr. Matsui has worked with music artists such as Utada Hikaru, fashion designer Louis Vuitton, and filmmaker Sophia Coppola. Furthermore, Gravity Terminal has produced a third self titled CD which mixes minimal techno, drum and bass, and electro-music to create a truly new listening experience.
