Press Reviews * DoomMaker - Blitzkrieg/Own demise Ep A new demo, from a new band: DoomMaker (I love this name) They are young, love Heavy-Metal and they show it with their new single. 2 songs. Only 2 songs. But 2 Apocalyptic songs. For a first single, this band done the best of themselves, like has made legends like Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden with their first releases. The material is perfect, and the musicians are perfect too. They have mixed the violence from Kreator with the dark ambiances from Sentenced and the melodies of Iron Maiden. Surely a band which must be discovered by all Death metal fans !!! 9/10 Carlo Zonera Satan's orchestra magazine * DoomMaker - Blitzkrieg/Own demise Ep Whoah who are they ??????? I receive this tape in my mail box 2 days ago and i'm already a fan !!!!! With the tape, Seb (the guitar player, singer and leader of the band) has send a letter which was only telling "We are a french death metal band wich want to kick the ass of the world !! So love it or hate it !". This guys really know where they want to go and i love it. So i put the cd in my Cd reader and whoah !!!!! it was really powerful. The first song Blitzkrieg is a real blast. Take the best from Kreator, Arch enemy and Obituary; add a personal touch with some dark ambiances, and you will have a fuckin' song which made you cry. But the best song is surely the second, "Own Demise" for the moment, i have only heared the instruments, but it seems to be a big hit !!! I've send a mail to Seb and he tolds me that he has written this song during 1 year, and we can hear it by the quality of the writings : Acoustic bridges, ..... A song which is a kind of story in three parts, with three differents ambiances. A band which will go so Far !!!!!!!!! And the more rageous is that they are only 18. So check the website and like say Seb : Be ready for the Doom !!!!! DoomMaker, is a new death metal band, which come from France, and whick release now their first single. The musicians are great. The music is dark and trashy. And the band perfoms they songs with profesionnal. There is good melody, and the melt Gothic/Trash/Death/Black is original. I think that we can hope the best for this band, which first release is very great. A very good album, from a country where the metal doesn't works too much... 8,5/10 Christophe Durassin Iron, Steel, Metal fanzine * DoomMaker - Blitzkrieg/Own demise Ep At times of to much melodic metal bands a new death metal star is born! And they arenīt a copy of any other bands..... DOOMMAKER are creating their own dark style. I checked out the demo with the songs "Blitzkrieg" and "Own Demise". The mix is not the best because itīs only a demo to show the people what DOOMMAKER are representing. And they did their best! These young french musicians are very good. The song BLITZKRIEG is a pure Death Metal track with a very dark feeling. OWN DEMISE is a special song (everyone will love it)... it includes good melodies with hard parts and some acoustic bridges. With a good producer they would be better than most of the Death Metal bands are around. And donīt forget - these guys are very young... they have the time to grow up to one of the famoust Death Metal bands. I wish the band all the best to fullfill these dream! I created the logo of the band. At this time I only had contact with Seb (guitar player and singer of the band). Now, after checking out the sound of the band - Iīm very proud to be a little part of this fantastic newcomer. Donīt forget the name DOOMMAKER... you will love them in the future !
