Artist History
it began in 1984 as a jam with Mark Valentine on bass,
Amis on vocals, and Barry on keyboards and drum programs.
the original band name was 'Fact or Fear',
but was changed , and as a result of bad interpretation of Amis's
brother's handwriting it became 'Three Years in Tibet'.
over the next few years we composed over 60 songs, and released
one vinyl lp, 'Brittle Branches' on Pterodactyle records.
during the summer and fall of 1985, the single 'Beyond Tibet'
was given a substantial bit of college airplay, and also
was heard on British radio thru a friend of the family,
who loved the lp and worked in radio in England.
he took several copies back with him, and got it played
quite a bit on the BBC radio network that year.
jumping ahead to the present, i am remastering
and releasing the original lp songs and many more
on cd as audio and in mp3 format. there are 3 cds available now,
more are coming. |
