Uplifting,positive,funny and down to earth...meet Louisa. She has a new CD a new direction and she's ready to take her career into overdrive. In l992 Louisa reached a national audience with a four song CD. Louisa charted nationally with the title track, " I Don't Think I Love You" and her video "Only Memories" received national airplay on TNN and Cmt. Her second video "Boy Oh Boy Girl" attained
coast to coast exposure on CMT. The single was a radio favorite. Louisa has also performed prestigious showcases such as CCMA and ECMA, has been invited to perform with the Huron Carol and has opened with many world class performers- most recently Billy Ray Cyrus.

While this new project is Louisas first full length recording, make no mistake about it, she is a seasoned professional with impressive credentials. Like most artists dedicated to their craft, Louisa began her singing career as a youngster, performing wherever and whenever she could. Over time, Louisa developed both her vocal and presentation skills, eventually bringing together a group of the areas finest musicians to form the Louisiana Band. Louisa and the band toured extensively throughout Eastern Canada.
In 1992, Louisa reached a national audience with a 4 song CD, recorded and produced by Randall Prescott. Louisa charted nationally with the title track, I Don’t Think I Love You and her video Only Memories received airplay on TNN in the United States. Her second video Boy Oh Boy Girl attained coast to coast exposure on CMT. The single was a radio favorite.
Louisa has by recognized by her peers with numerous musical award nominations, has performed prestigious showcases such as CCMA and ECMA, has been invited to perform with the Huron Carole, and has shared the stage with many world class artists – most recently Billy Ray Cyrus.
The first single from “Falling In Love” received national airplay and Louisa followed that up with the single 'Do You Ever'. In February 2003 Louisa was nominated for an ECMA in the country category along side her musical idol Anne Murray. Louisa recently taped her first television special which will be aired in the next few months. Louisa is currently working on her first Christmas CD which will contain many traditional songs along with two songs she co-wrote. Listen for Louisa's new single "I Just Do" on a radio station near you.
