Artist History the creation of the weathered period took place during the summer of 1999 in the city of lakeland, florida. they are inspired by bands like far, the smashing pumpkins, sunny day real estate and the foo fighters. However they do not try to imitate those who have come before them. instead, they attempt to create something that is entirely their own. they are hard working, and they are determined to play music for a living. they are a family, and they are just as committed to one another as they are to their music. the four minds that collectively exist as weathered are and will always be: cloud kennedy, thunder kennedy, bruce barnes, and warren warnock. cloud and thunder are brothers. warren is their cousin. the three of them have been in the band since the very start. it took a while, however, for them to find the fourth piece. bruce joined the band in 2000. with his arrival, the weathered period officially had a solidified lineup.
