Artist description Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, Mark D'Errico moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1998. He quickly built his own home studio ("Boulder Manhattan Studio") and started writing and recording ambient, rock and symphonic new age instrumental music. Being a multi-keyboardist since 1980, he knows how to evoke the deepest feelings from his music. Whether it's eerie and tense or soft and heartfelt, his music carries your imagination to places it's never been before. He has released two CDs. His first CD, Out of Bounds, was released in 2000. His second CD, Faithless Masque, was released in 2001. He is currently working on his third CD.

Press Reviews earBuzz.com: Mark D'Errico has assembled 8 instrumental keyboard based space age tunes on his latest record, "Out of Bounds". Mark combines guitar samples with keyboard/drum programming expertise to lay foundations and beds of soothing and thoughtful music. The CD starts with "Hood", a Jan Hammer influenced hard edged piece - with lead key sounds reminiscent of Vice. Track 3 is one of the highlights of the CD - the cut, "Oceans", is a slow modulating string/key bed that supports melody instruments like an arpeggiating piano to produce a trance like quality, similar to Floyd. The long mp3 here, "Love in the Mountains", begins with a full orchestra of keys - emulating the fullness of nature in the mountains. Track 7, "Silver River", is an easy moving relaxer with sampled acoustic guitar. The final track, "Out of Bounds", also the title track, is a ten minute exercise in panned keys lines, swelling horn beds, and quivering revolving leads - and each chapter moves effortlessly with musical transitions. Overall the CD is a relaxing science fiction instrumental new age mood - and we look forward to more.
