Artist description LUG is the solo project of Australian Simon Ayton. Lug is atmospherically rich music created via technology and earthbound sounds/instruments and simon's custom designed plug-ins for the Creamware SCOPE/Pulsar audio production system for MAC/PC. Simon works as a freelance audio engineer in Europe and Australia and has created the sound/music for more than 9 films and recorded and played on more than a dozen CDs. LUG is based in Berlin/Germany

Artist History Simon Ayton played drums with Australian bands Scarecrow Tiggy and later ZAIBATSU in the mid to late nineties and toured and recorded. Simon has created the music, sounds and mixed over 10 feature and short films and recorded, produced and played on more than 12 CDs for various international artists. Simon's won the 1999 St.Kilda "High Achievement In Sounds Post-Production" for the film "First Love" Recorded and mixed at his Melbourne studio, Onomatopoeia. Simon moved to UK in 2000 and since August 2001 has been living in Berlin, Germany writing, recording and playing and working as both a live and studio engineer/producer.
