Artist description The Band known as Joe Box has came on the music scene, only to be called Grunge Rock! I call them just plain ordinary Rock! They have the ability to keep your ears cocked to catch their musical beat, while your not wanting to miss out on one word of what they are saying in their music! Joe Box, once heard, needs no other introductions, their music is for the lack of a better word or words, straight to the point, in your face and based on life as it really is. Their music isn't sugar coated, so if your looking for a grocery store jingle I am afraid that you won't find it in their repertoire. What Joe Box does to music is what the late Sam Kinnison had done to Comedy. Put it out there for you to hear, touch, taste and related to it! The good, the bad and the indifferent! I guess that sometime there is no easy way or colorful version of the quote "you ripped my heart out" other than to just say it and let whatever healing needs to be done get on with it! Musical Influences Many!

Artist History Clinton Miller and Douglas OConnor have been playing together for 8 years. After messing around for a few years we had made a CD (OPEN THE LID) and had no intention of releasing it but only for our personal use. By the end of 1999 we decided to put a serious CD of our songs together. After some thought we came up with the CD (SEEING STRAIGHT). We worked on the CD a little over a year and finished it by early 2000. After playing our music to friends and family members they all encouraged us to get our stuff out to the public. We have gone through a lot of changes with drummers but always come back to JOE BOX. We are done working on our second CD (FASLE WITNESS)November 2002. Our new stuff is very exciting with a little different sound but still JOE BOX in your face style.
