Artist History
Battlestar is a trip-hop band formed in Brooklyn in 1999 by producer Rench. Development over the next couple years led to a vision of Battlestar as pioneers in the fusion of Country and Hip-Hop styles. This vision was realized in 2002 with the release of "Above Market Value", a full length CD with a full crew of musicians and guest appearances, showcasing Rench's new country hip-hop sound. |
