Artist History
Years ago, two children were born with destinies unknown to man. During their childhood, they discovered the joys of music and felt a need to express their own.
As teenagers, they chose primary instruments; one the guitar, and the other the bass. During this time, they studied classical and jazz styles with many unknown greats.
At early adulthood, they shared their talents with others via live performances in various venues covering many genres. As they grew older, they were faced with the many
challenges of middle-class American life. And once again they went down separate paths, one in the vending industry, and the other in the computer industry. During these
trying times, their passions were put at bay to tend to the responsibilities of being a husband and a father; but that passion would constantly burn inside to the point where
their instruments had to be embraced. It was finally realized that the inner passion that was burning would have to receive some attention before it consumed them. Then the
magical day happened. Their separate career paths crossed and the two were united for the first time. Little did they know that this was a brotherhood destined by heaven.
The initial meeting was your typical casual encounter, but over the days it became more.
After a few months, they both shared with each other that they had a history with music. Eventually, the idea came about to get together to "jam". And "jam" they did. In a
short time, they realized that even though they were good musicians in their own rights, when the two entities were brought together the anointing was powerful! That's when
they decided to do something serious about it. The creation of their first album began; unfortunately it would take over 2 years. It took over 2 years because they still had
to handle their responsibilities as husbands and fathers, and deal with the trials and tribulations of middle-class American life. Then Spiritjewel was created.
Spiritjewel started out as two guys wanting to get their music out to the masses to touch people's hearts, minds, and their souls; but then it became more. Like a priceless,
precious stone; Spiritjewel became a multi-faceted company that is preparing to not only produce the music of the founders, but to help others become successful independent artists.
This is just the beginning... |
